Hi, I’m Rebecca (or Becs/Bec), great to meet you!

I set up Purrfectly Local two years ago to do something I’ve always wanted to do – be a professional cat sitter for people in my neighbourhood. Regarding cat care, prior to Purrfectly Local I have looked after many of my friends’ cats for over 20 years. I now have a growing and happy client base of humans and floofs – see Testimonials for feedback on my services. I was a public sector professional until 2023.

Here are some pics of me with my felines, the beautiful tortie Muffin (Muff) who very sadly left us in 2023 due to illness. I now live with the two other energetic balls of fluff here, ginger Maxwell and calico Millie, who are brother & sister and the best of pals. Max and Millie came to me through the amazing Katie at Pawpurrs.

Having owned cats most of my life, I know how important it is to find people who you can trust to care for and monitor your cats when you are away. My aim is to be someone you can rely on to be available when you need me (as much as is humanly possible).

Cats are comforted hugely by their routine, and I love to be a familiar face when their favourite humans can’t be around! I cover my local community of Levenshulme and nearby only – providing a lot of flexibility, availability and responsiveness for my clients. This business is my main job.

I am:

  • A long-term Levenshulme resident (13 years+)
  • Fully insured with Petplan Sanctuary, including comprehensive emergency vet care
  • DBS Checked
